Finca Pampa is a very traditional farm in central Acatenango situated at 1600 meters, an area known for its mineral rich soil, frequent eruptions from the nearby Fuego Volcano keep the coarse, sandy soils full of minerals enhancing the refined and moderate acidity of the beans. This farm has been run by the same family for generations. Each lot is cupped and notes are recorded along with production data when the coffee cherry was harvested and de-pulped and how long it stayed in the fermentation tanks.  They maintains soil tests and weather data related to each lot. Such care and attention to detail are obvious in the Geisha they produce.  As we all know, Geisha is very difficult varietal to grow and yield much less than other varietals.

They have a very well cared small production of Geisha cultivar and mainly they offer Caturra and Bourbon in high quality micro lots.

Their coffee cup (Caturra & Bourboe) has a restrained flavor profile. Exceptionally clean, with a well-integrated moderate acidic snap that gives the coffee a well-structured character overall. Mild citrus brightness and sweet orange aroma. It's a very refined cup overall.

Finca Pampa produces one of the finest Geisha in Acatenango. With their coffee, their Geisha cup literally shouts out "Geisha".  It has the elongated seed form as Geisha seed should and it has the pronounced Geisha cup character.
Their Geisha is like walking thru a jasmine field, extremely floral & sweet.  The dry frangrance is really strong with dried flowers, pastry fruits, sweet pomelo citrus and peach.  Also, you can detect a tropical scent as well that has elements of dried pineapple, guava and papaya.  The wet aroma has a strong honey sweetness and is very floral and bright with rose water and citrus.  Basically, it is Incredible coffee!
